Will old Duotone boom work with new Echo?

Probably a dumb question but you never know. Does anyone know if the original Duotone boom will work with the new Echo wing?  I have asked this b4 in an e mail to Duotone but got no reply

It should. the string loops around the boom extension and butts against the adjuster. As far as I can see it's the same boom. I made a carbon boom for a friend with the new echo and it worked exactly the same as the old booms.

old boom works with all but the 6m and 7m.

Thanks Pono and Dwight...it would be for smaller Echo so it’s good to know the boom will work.  Larger wing sizes I don’t like a boom, too heavy.
