'Wing as pusher' move...
« on: December 06, 2020, 09:32:20 AM »
Cynthia Brown reports this move produces very high speeds. She said Alan Kadiz called it 'Starfish', but she likens it to a wingsuit.  ' Said; The kiter who was filming had difficulty keeping up; he had to keep looping the kite.

The technique I use, take a wave going down wind and let the wing flip over, (I'm riding out of the center of wind window usually toe side or back side to the wave) pull the wing up against yourself. Then get back to center of wind window and don't pump too much so the wind can catch up to you. It'll start pushing you down wind. To get out of it you can pump down wind faster than the wind and out of the wind window.

Easier to get into for sure, go into 360 to get back winding then head down wind while grabbing the tail of the wing to center it behind you. Pump the board if you need to speed up to relive pressure.
