If this doesn’t get your adrenaline going...prone, sup, tow, skim, kite, windsurfing - so much fun to watch!

Remember when Kai was that squirrely kid on a SUP?  ;D

I also remember when 'big wave" surfing was straight-lining on giant burgers at Waimea.

I didn't watch the video linked yet - but I heard a rumor that Zane used a wing to "tow" in on a foilboard but then dropped the wing to surf the wave.  I'd love to hear if there was some thought put into how to retrieve the wing, but I assume it was either lost or retrieved by a friend on a ski.  Begs the question - if you have a friend on a ski, then maybe just get them to tow you instead?

The Progression Project recorded with @zaniac yesterday and it should be released later this week. They're specifically going to be talking about that.

Awesome vid. Any theory on what that SUP is at the 3:50 and 7:00 mark? Brutal over the falls on that 2nd ride, but damn what a ride it was.

I wonder if the sup surfer had a support boat and how many paddles he had on board ?  Hard to imagine he could hold on to them getting worked the way he did!

Zaniac said he uses his SUP paddle as a rudder of sorts to bring himself back to the surface while he's being dragged by his leash on those huge ones.

I saw some videos, it think on has dad Matt's FB page, and Zane was ripping on his SUP. He sure paid some dues though.
