Damn, I should have gone to swell. I had a decent session but it got super light towards the end. I would have rendezvous-ed with you guys, but got shanghaied by Diane to do a little tech support which inevitably turned to three hours of misery. She has a couple of very slick Fujitsu scanners that scan all paperwork to Evernote. Of course the evernote-specific software is no longer supported and the newer Mac OS blows the old software up, but there's a workaround consisting of replacing the firmware to turn the scanner into their more general version, then setting up a cloud-based converter that pipes the stuff to Evernote. So that was fun. And you got to share a taste of the misery by reading about it.
I finally escaped to the river but it was a 5.0 1150 kind of afternoon. I started on the 1000, but it was too much work. I should have pumped up the 6.0 but I'm getting lazy. I just swapped in the 1150 and that worked until the wind died a bit more.
On the plus side, I got the tech bullshit done and Diane was able to update her system software without blowing too much up.
