Bumpy Juice
« on: September 03, 2020, 10:57:33 AM »
Some size and quite challenging yesterday (9/02/2020) here in New Jersey. Some juicy, bombing, bumpy, nuggets in the rough out there had me on my toes. Just the shorebreak took about 8 minutes or so to navigate.
Video is entirely off the SOLOSHOTedit software. I didn't do anything but upload it to the host site. The s/w uses it's algorithms to determine highlights and editing. It seemed to like when I got cleaned up by a set!  :P

One could go into a mall in Kansas and ask a teenager "What is a surfer looking for?, and the answer will always be, "The perfect wave"

Killing it Cookie... A peaky and mixed up rodeo ride. You had the right board too. I walked down to the beach this morning. It was clean, glassy and about < 6"  ::) WE NEED SURF!
It's not overhead to me!
8'8" L-41 ST and a whole pile of boards I rarely use.

Feeling ya Cookie. Yesterday (9/2) was super challenging and super fun. Board shorts to boot.

Some juicy, bombing, bumpy, nuggets in the rough out there had me on my toes.

Perfect description of the conditions! Glad to see you back on the water. Your pics and videos always let me recreate my sessions. Hoping you have some to share of today. Still the juice without the bump!

And maybe some left overs tomorrow......

Good for you SC! Couple of long lefts.  Similar conditions in northern Monmouth County as well. This morning was much cleaner caught a few fun ones but the high tide filled in quick.

Bumpy fun.... nice session cookie man!
I like the way SoloShot included you getting throttled and stuck inside for a set..... mine will just wander off if I go underwater.

Same conditions here last night....
It was offshore and clean, it took me 2 minutes to grab my boards and gear up..... the wind had gone North and by the time I was outside it looked like your session.
Some solid sets with very long, bouncy rides.

I am going in 15 minutes... wind is straight offshore, swell is the same. I'll have Solo set up before sunrise!

@ Cookie

Excellent video. I really enjoyed watching it.

Down at Surfside, Tx which is my favorite place to sup surf, when the wind is up around 18 mph or more, we have the same type of wave conditions.

Thanks for sharing your video.

Almost forgot. Good to see you back on the water again. Hope your right shoulder has healed nicely.

Thanks man, you were really having fun out there. The summer juice in board shorts is a treat.
Is this your beloved pointbreak working again?
