New Kenalu Outrigger Paddles
« on: August 09, 2020, 09:09:03 AM »
Always loved Kenalu paddles but there is little info about their new OC paddles and there are no demos. I already corresponded with Lane but would like some feedback if anyone has tried them. So much tradition in outrigger paddling makes it a tough market to break into. Thanks!

Same price for a carbon double-bend shaft as a straight bamboo?? Lane really needs to find someone who can manage that website. My first OC paddles were just KeNalu Molokai blades on a shortened shaft. They worked very well, but most of the people in the OC club I belonged to switched to Puakea bent shaft and mixing in a crew really screws timing up, so I switched to Puakea. I liked my KeNalu lash up better, but so it goes.
Foote 10'4X34", SIC 17.5 V1 hollow and an EPS one in Hood River. Foote 9'0" x 31", L41 8'8", 18' Speedboard, etc. etc.
