I sort of still do, though I'm theoretically retired from racing. There's going to be a race next year that I might need to slip out of retirement for. Nice lift, I have more or less the same one though mine has an overhead bridge to carry the hydraulic lines to the right side. It looks like yours are mostly under that black mat. I've never been a Porsche guy, but most of my racing friends are. It's fun to race them with a somewhat ratty, thoroughly homely, TR3-based special.

The lift uses a hydraulic ram on one side, and a serious chain instead of cable. The chain run is under the tray. Makes it a pain when using a transmission jack, but a very sturdy design.

My racing days are over, but I still build a few engines for people. Mu stuff is all hybrid/electric these days :-)

I was strongly tempted to build an electric TR3, but came to my senses. I can buy a Model Y for what it would cost me, and the TR3 would be an infinitely less useful car. A model Y would almost certainly outlive me, the TR3 would just be a cute toy. As soon as I get my race car off the lift I'll finish building the TR3. This wing foiling has cut serious inroads into my project time.

The twin to Bill's Speedboard is still in one piece here.....:). I'm having thoughts of turning it into a rowing scull though.

I'm about to completely reorganize and clean out my shop. Giving some stuff away and getting the rest of my boards racked on the ceiling. And all the bigger powertools will be consolidated onto two rolling benches. Most of what I'm doing these days is either on the CNC or hand carving so I'm setting it up to focus on that. Any tool on my workbench pegboard that I haven't used in 6 months will be stored away. I'm going for less clutter and more efficient workspace.

Not too impressive... but it's all I have left.
It's enough  :)

But I may lose this soon as well.

You get to spend a lot more time on the water than me though.

Do it. I doubt I’ll ever use it. I’ve seen some cool kits for that, including one that lets you see
Where you’re going.
