Wardog boards Standuppaddlesports?
« on: August 03, 2020, 04:47:58 PM »
Anyone know what happened to Standuppaddlesports in Santa Barbara? Anyone else now selling the Wardog boards like the Stoke XL?
Their phones numbers are dead and website gone.

When you Google it, it says the store is permanently closed.

I guess Wardog decided this was a good time to retire.

There is a previous thread on the topic, and the upshot was yes, retirement. I recall there was some discussion about the domestic glasser(s) possibly bring able to produce a board if you’re really intent on it.

As much as Wardogs thread photo spamming drove me nuts I appreciate that people clearly loved his shapes. Well done sir. Hope he foiling, surfing, and sailing his butt off.

The Aloha of Wardog still lives 8) I hope he and Mrs Wardog are enjoying their retirement and staying safe.
It's not overhead to me!
8'8" L-41 ST and a whole pile of boards I rarely use.

Yes Wardog closed down his Santa Barbara shop late last year and is travelling and surfing with his lovely wife. I think you might be able to twist Wardog's arm to have a custom Stoke XL made for you. Try contacting him on Facebook:
