Armstrong HS1050
« on: August 03, 2020, 09:59:57 AM »
Anyone else out there paddling in on the Armstrong HS1050 wing?  Whenever the waves get over stomach high, I grab this wing and every time it blows me away.

I just had it out in a 3' at 12 second beach break high tide session and I was dropping in on closeouts and flying around sections I wouldn't have thought possible.  The drops are much easier than the 1200 in steeper/larger waves.  So predictable.

My favorites to watch rip on this wing are @sky.rama @1to2andfiring and @foiltheworld

Taking off in front of @1to2andfiring is intimidating. I just run for the shoulder thinking he's going to be catching up to me. Then I go and watch the cam rewind and he's back there cutting back and bouncing off the white water. :)

I've seen other guys ride it too and agree, it looks real good.
