One could go into a mall in Kansas and ask a teenager "What is a surfer looking for?, and the answer will always be, "The perfect wave"

In Texas, once that fin is installed on a surfboard or a sup, TPWD will classify the board as a "motorized vessel" and be subject for registration TX numbers which have to be installed on the "vessel" and be "easily seen" which is going to be hard to do. Not to mention, there will be a yearly or two year "fee" for these registered TX numbers.

But I am also going to play "Devil's Advocate" too.

In our beach surf, the water contains lots of very tiny grains of sand in suspension. This makes our beach surf water "brown" colored. I think this sand in suspension will clog the water intake mechanism of this fin and basically, once clogged with sand, the propeller in the fin will not start to spin.
