There was a guy who when SUP was just starting, rigged up a sort of paddle wheel through the middle of the SUP board. It was driven by a bicycle crank that was mounted upside down and was driven with his hands. He sat in a fold up chair on it, and just cranked away with his arms all around the harbor. He had a little rudder on the back that he controlled with his feet. Clever .....
