Crazy!  I wudda'ben wrapped in plaster in a coma having tried that.  Can we expect ridge soaring at Torrey Pines?

Plenty of  State park personnel around. Nobody's telling me not to do it or to slow down . Usually when it’s blowing that good it cuts the crowds down

Get some fat sand wheels for that board and you'll be on to something. I'm going to dig out my sandsurfing board and get it back in action. I gave away the sand wheels a long time ago and converted it to a mountain board. Hopefully I can find some replacements. the old ones I had came from France.

The Carveboard has 3" tires. You can play around with tire pressure.
I am running 40 PSI.
They list them for $25.00 a tire, inner tube $12.00, Bearing set $19.00, hubs $25.00

Don't have any wide, packed sand beaches around here.

Maybe a soccer field or open park.

Don't think I want to be strapped to it...

Quite a bit of speed on smooth pavement.

3" wheels aren't really enough for sand, that's what I have on my board now. the wheels I had were smooth with a ridge down the middle and were a little more than 6" wide. They used an extremely offset hub so they could be used with standard mountainboard tracks. They were shit on pavement or packed dirt, but glided over loose sand and even up dunes if I had enough wind. Certainly beaches like mission beach would work fine. Oregon has ideal beaches for this stupidity. I have no problem remembering the hematomas and abrasions I had from sand sailing with a board.

Good thing I have a short memory. Once the Memory of the pain is gone..stupid is as stupid does...

But then again I usually figure out what not to do first..

Bill,  I used a pair of 'Wheeleez' for a sand cart to all my kite c'hit back in about 2003 - ' repurposed into a SUP, chair, cooler, etc. hauler for the long walk (return is much harder..) to the water.

The tires/wheels are still good.  I took one off the cart to use it as a front on this insta-kart I made from a discarded skimboard. The gray pair are 'similars' off Amazon.
