This is why we can’t have nice things.

Lifeguards are on my “highest respect” list. I’m assuming it’s the same with this whole crew. We may play cat and mouse around certain rules, but when busted, just move along politely. Obviously.

The world, sadly, is full of these idiots (along with a ton of great people.)

Yeah unfortunately there are a lot of entitled idiots out there.  Whether or not the complete beach ban is overkill doesn't change the fact that this IS what's in place for the time being.  Don't make the jobs of the lifeguards and cops any harder.  It's just that simple.

He'll get his mom to pay it.

_________

We have a situation locally - they closed access to 'town beach' - so I hear everybody is mobbing the Federal Park.

Up the line in Delaware, one town manager asked the people from Balto/DC to please do not come to your summer home or rent it - "We have a 20-bed hospital."

On the Cocoa Beach camera yesterday - the beach was pretty much empty (lineup also) but the guards were sitting in their stands near Shepard Park?   ...' same, just now?   (Sun 12:30)

I took a drive up north LA on PCH to do a surf check on Saturday. Never seen Zuma or Surfrider Malibu empty. OTOH, County Line took the pent up demand. Check out the bikers idea of social distancing...
