Jim, I found this quote uplifting,  “We have reason to believe this view is closest to reality. In South Korea, public health officials screened about 100,000 people and detected over 7,300 cases. So far, the death toll is 50, which translates to a case-fatality rate of 0.7 percent. That’s still seven times worse than seasonal flu, but it’s far lower than the initial reports from China.”

As of today that would be over 200k tested, 8500 cases and death toll of 91, so case-fatality rate of approx 1 percent.

Here is a decent chart and article.  One problem is that age and underlying condition are muxed.  The death #'s go way down when you look at each age group (even the old) without underlying condition.  I saw an article that broke that out that I cannot find now.
