Great paddle. Still use it for my backup. I prefer my 83” vdrive. But i like the blur.

Danny and Dave are a hard combo to argue against. I've not used one (Ke Nalu loyalist), but the ones I've just played with in the shop sure seem like they're well made, and with some nice performance thought(s) behind them.
Me: 6'1"/185...(2) 5'1" Kings Foil/Wing Boards...7'10 Kings DW Board...9'6" Bob Pearson "Laird Noserider"...14' Lahui Kai "Manta"...8'0" WaveStorm if/when the proning urges still hit.

I'm a KeNalu afficiando Not as HS are not as smooth as KeNalu's  and I've seen some break in the surf but as a back up paddle (if you can get it cheap enough) might be a good option
But there are better backup paddle (100% Carbon) options

I had one, solid paddle, ended up moving on to a smaller blade and shaft (Werner Rip Stick 79).

Do you use it just for sup surfing?

News flash... all paddles can break in the surf. I've had QB, Ke Nalu & Werner all break. It happens.

But there are better backup paddle (100% Carbon) options

This is such a stupid statement with nothing to back it up. Typical reply.

Yeah, no issues there, very durable as I give my paddles a pretty solid beating. The only reason I sold it was to go with a smaller shaft, smaller blade, which I highly recommend.
