On the east coast its still amazing how people don't realize they need to haircut their purchase price by 50% just to get an email for a sale on a board.  West coast has more seller sand buyers and sales always seem more realistic.

After reaserching for a used distance board for 6 months, haggling to no end, I ended up buying the board of a fellow zoner and friend (LBSup) on a board i didnt know he even owned.  15 seconds of joking,  zero haggling as he knew what it was worth second hand and I knew I would pay a few more bucks than market to make all parties feel good, buddy sale,  and I obviously wanted the board.

the community on the east coast is so small now the boards are generally getting sold by the 'phone tree' now without even advertisement.

we will see if thats the case as im debating selling two Surf Sups to fund a custom......
