There is no such thing as a plate to Tuttle adapter. Adapters go the other way, Tuttle to plate.

You need a new head, the GoFoil Tuttle head or the windsurf Tuttle head as shown here https://adventuresportsusa.com/2019-neilpryde-glide-wind-foil.html

Aluminum masts often have different tops/heads/mounts for plate and tuttle mount.
Looks like neil pryde has two tuttle mounts that bolt onto their aluminum masts:

https://www.mackiteboarding.com/2019-neil-pryde-glide-foil-surf-box/
https://www.mackiteboarding.com/2019-neil-pryde-glide-foil-power-box/

With carbon the mount is often part of the mast.

The difference as I understand it is the power box mounts flush to the bottom of you board and angle of attack is basically locked to the rocker or lack there of.  The other gives some adjustment with shimming and adjusting angle of attack.

To my surprise they do make plate to tuttle adapters, the only reason that makes sense to me would be mounting on an inflatable that only has tuttle, or maybe a temporary test before having track boxes installed into a board.
Aloha, I welcome and appreciate all responses of positivity and good feeling.

that’s not a plate to Tuttle adapter you’re looking at. That is a windsurf Powerbox with built-in huge flange, no plate with holes, to help take some of the load off the powerbox, which is a tiny, weak, windsurf FIN only box. This was a play by Neil Pryde to make their foils fit 75% of the windsurfers on the market.

I second hand bought the foil and it came with a plate mount on just the foil so I am just seeing if its better to buy the "proper mount or do adapters work fine
