Dan Taylor used his monster lens from the beach to shoot a super action shot of me ripping up a great wave on my foil. At least that's what it looks like. In reality, I was struggling with way too much lift and was in the process of getting tossed off from a good sized wave. But it looks cool.

You don't suppose all those cover shots on Surfer, back in the day, were all completed maneuvers? Not.
It's all about perfect timing.... and this one works!
