First race (Harborhoot)
« on: October 13, 2019, 08:23:18 AM »
Had a amazing day at the first ever Dana Point Harbor Hoot. The weather was perfect and there were around 130 paddlers, amazing turnout. The highlight of the day for me was winning a brand new Quick Blade UV 88 paddle. Anthony Vela did a great job putting the event together. Yesterday looked like sup racing is alive and well in socal.

Good job. I though about doing it, but had kid events to attend. Put the Hanohano on your calendar. It's the first race of the year in January. All the speed freaks will be there.
It's not overhead to me!
8'8" L-41 ST and a whole pile of boards I rarely use.

I definitely plan on attending that one. This event was so cool from what i hear it was kinda like the old mongoose cup. Hopefully there will be another one next year.
