Long wrist leashes do stink.  Especially coiled.  They are contantly tangling.  Have you tried a 3.5 foot wrist leash?  That is by far the best IMO.  We all switched from waist belt attachments and I never tangle anymore. 

My setup now is Swing 3.5 foot wrist leash and 6 foot FCS freedom leash at the ankle.  With that setup I never think about leashes when I am riding.

It might be okay except for the clip. An easy point of failure and an unnecessary complication for our use.

Foote 10'4X34", SIC 17.5 V1 hollow and an EPS one in Hood River. Foote 9'0" x 31", L41 8'8", 18' Speedboard, etc. etc.
