Eastbound, the two small pieces that come with the pad - I just split them and used for the strips in the center. Don’t like any bold spots in the middle of the board.

and, in theory, one's front foot should be middle of the board

pad does err on the grippy side

not an issue. in fact, might make other pads feel slippery once im used to the oam

Same pic from the other thread but here is how I installed the pad.  On this board no issue with the pad not going all the way to the edges since my feet stay pretty centered but it is a very reactive board.  (8'10x29).  I used the strips for the front of the pad.

I like the grippiness--have had the board almost 50 degrees sideways to the surface of the water and was able to recover!
