Rippin SUPsters
« on: August 30, 2019, 05:14:34 AM »
Did a predawn surf yesterday,  Point Judith area.   Two guys got on the water carrying SMALL boards as I was coming out.  These two looked like shortboarders on the wave.  Great to watch !  I will say that they were not waiting for waves while standing.

Fisher has been riding that same "fun shape" SUP in everything for a long time.... he absolutely kills its.
Big Sunset Beach or Wrightsville Beachbreak.... same board.

Would have been awesome to see them out in Rhody, lifting the SUP reputation a bit  :)
Pretty sure Eastie was there.... wonder if he shared the session with them?

Fisher in Wrightsville, fun shaping!

Clean ripping.
One could go into a mall in Kansas and ask a teenager "What is a surfer looking for?, and the answer will always be, "The perfect wave"

I usually surf till im spent then take some photos as time allows.  Looking back at the pictures there are always a few people that end up in all the shots and look good in every one.   These guys were just shredding every wave they got.  Great inspiration.  JP

did not see them--and you can see all peaks there--would have enjoyed seeing them

woke with a bad neck spazm yesterday after 3/4 long days in RI

gotta get a new batch of neck stretches going--certainly no surfing for a couple days--and god forbid i do something stupid like reach suddenly for a glass of water

Just shared some waves––I mean watched him take all the waves--with him warming up for the Long Beach APP  (plus a whole lot of other humbling rippers). Really friendly guy who remembered me from last year. Seeing him spin around on a long-board was pretty impressive as well. https://youtu.be/4EFOSlnFtqI?t=32913
