youre not afraid to chop up your gear, badger

In this case, you can't even tell that I cut it unless you put it up against a stock paddle. I used a jig saw for the cutting, then filed and sanded the edge smooth.

The Sunova website says this paddle is 82 sq inches but by my measurement, it was around 86. Plus it was obviously bigger than my 83 sq inch Kialoa Pipes when put side by side. I figure I decreased the area by about 5 sq inches.

i have a couple ignorantly-bought massive kialoas i keep around for flatwater guests--blades are made of that blue crap---i may actually chop em down--they're like 10 years old, but these are too big even for God (laird!)
