Foil and Weeds
« on: June 27, 2019, 07:34:28 AM »
Key Largo is still piled up with Sargassum Weed. So thick in May windsurfing with 45 degree weed fin they would stick some times.

So what is going to happen to the foil? Sargassum will most likely make it impossible to use. Then once the Sargassum is gone it will be just sea grass.
Probably more managable.

Any one going through this?

It’s not great, but still possible. We lived through it this spring.

The eastside of Santa Cruz is a no-foil zone for good reason.
