Should I blame David John?
« on: June 22, 2019, 03:44:07 PM »
I might become a yellow addict.....
The Maliko is a sure value and keeper and the 2014 Javelin LE after my second paddle and first DW seems to be another keeper. That is two out of two. Got to love Naish.

You can put some of the blame on me. Thus you won't have to switch color next year ;D

You have a nice quiver of boards. And I know you enjoy every one of them.

Sup Sports Hammer: 8'11" x 31" x 4" @ 140 Liters
SUP Sports One World: 11'1" x 30" x 4.5" @ 173 Liters
CJ Nelson Parallax: 9'3" x 23 1/2" x 3 3/16" @ 78.8 Liters (prone surfing longboard; Thunderbolt Technologies build in Red construction)

And all of it - locally and - for barely more than what would cost me ordering a brand new 2019 board.

You've certainly mastered the art of the used deal. Maybe running clinics on
how to get a perfect quiver without taking a second mortgage is in your future :)

Now you need to find yourself a 2014 Glide GX. For touring... and just because it was a lovely board that you could probably pick up for peanuts now.

That has never crossed my mind - https://www.seabreeze.com.au/forums/Stand-Up-Paddle/Review/2014-Naish-Glide-14-GX-first-test-run?page=1
A touring board that could also downwind some big bumps....if only an inch narrower, I think I am 10 kg too light to power it effectively.....but who knows what might cross my path in the future. For the time being touring=Ace-GT.

On a side note I can relate to the comments regarding the 2014 rocker fro down-winding. I had a blast on the X26 LE. Not my first choice for side chop, but getting into bumps at 25 knots, that's a winner.
