Ha ha.... Eddie, I chose the exact same frame grabs from my SoloShot vid!

Weed and I were standing next to each other.... he with his awesome DSLR and lens setup,
and me using my SoloShot on "manual"... which is a terrible way to shoot any action vids.
I won't do that again, it's designed to run it's own self.

The crowds change, but the surf photographer remains the same..... thank you Eddie "Weed" for your efforts on every swell, year round!

What a fun weekend by all gotta love the Cape Cod Surf Community. Yes, we were standing almost next to each other. Had a similar experience with surfer/surf photographer R.I.P Dave Harmon when we were standing side by side. Gotta give gratitude to all that sacrificed for us to enjoy weekends like this past one.

Sucks so bad not being able to drive most of the time. I had some waist/chest high stuff here on Saturday but that was it. Of course I sucked in that anyway so not sure it really mattered.

Here's a few more from either this past weekend or this year. I enhanced the color on most.

Impressive pictures, surf, and surfing. Hard to believe I'm not feeling fomo to the point of no return, since it's been a solid three months sidelined.
Used my SoloShot on "manual"... which is a terrible way to shoot any action vids.
Interesting. I've used the SS3 many times on Manual mode w/great results. I've shot surfers, wildlife, and landscapes in manual mode successfully.

One could go into a mall in Kansas and ask a teenager "What is a surfer looking for?, and the answer will always be, "The perfect wave"
