All boards can develop problems, of course. But the build quality and construction of the JL boards is the best available. So unless you are extremely unlucky or extremely careless, this board should just go on and on.

Those ‘magic eraser’ sponges are your best friend. They are abrasive but only slightly.

I can’t give a good paddle report because I’m too much of a novice!

That's exactly why your report counts! I may miss things that will be important to a novice, so your point of view
might offer some useful insights. Let us know how shortening your paddle affected your experienced with the board.

Thanks burchas!  It’s a great board.  It weighs 22.6 lbs.  I managed to get most of the pollen stain off, but since it’s painted with automotive paint, I might use some “waterless wash” on it.  Maybe some Quick Wax?  I don’t know....
