These are used world wide for thousands of applications. Electronics, automotive, SUP ::)

You can create your own vent plug. Just tap & die ( create a thread in) a piece of plastic or aluminum and glass it in. You could 3D print one as well. Pick a style of Gore vent and thread it accordingly.

Those are generic. Not real Goretex. The ones made in the US wholesale cheap enough that it is not worth risking a leak with those.
