Liquid Lunch with Superfrank
« on: April 16, 2019, 03:26:20 PM »
Caught some leftovers today.  The wind has been howling especially yesterday, today not as bad but still blowing.  Ended my rides with some terrible dismounts.

Looks like a nice day... and that SF works well in that size surf.

You are surfing nicely Ken!

I cringed every time you jumped off in Knee deep water.... that would collapse my knee in a second  :-\

Warm that place up will you? I'll be swinging through in a few weeks and all I have with me is a 3/2  ;D ;D

Anyone who can catch some waves for some rides when the wind and wave conditions are not optimal, that is a good day. This is how I always look at it when the surf forecast is wrong.

Thanks for sharing the video.

Thanks guys.

Rick,  I wasn’t  too keen on my dismounts it was low tide and got shallow very quick.
I think you’ll be fine in a few weeks as long as the air temps continue to rise.  Hope I can see you.

Sweet little zippers with some fun looking rides LBsup.....wind sucks for sure...been blowing A LOT up here in New England since the beginning of the month but there have been several windows of sweet fun.

Always great to see a vid here and look forward to more!

Thanks Whatsup.  Probably just me but I feel like the wind has been blowing strong for long durations lately after storms pass, seems unusual.

Wind after storms is typical spring weather up here.

Nice, looks about right for what I've been seeing in Queens.

Warm that place up will you? I'll be swinging through in a few weeks and all I have with me is a 3/2  ;D ;D

I've been surfing with my 3/2 for a few weeks with no problems. The trick has been wearing a 1mm liner with a hood, as its still cold enough for the brain freeze.

I still wearing my 6/5 if it's below 50F. I usually don't pull out the 3/2 until sometime in June.
