Surfing Myanmar biggest tidal bore of the year
Myanmar Sup:
I went on a solo surfing trip in the gulf of Martaban to surf the biggest tidal bore of the year.
Here is the video.

Genial! Adventure of a lifetime. How long of a drive to the access point?
Night Wing:
That was a very nice video. Plenty of aerial and gopro views. Loved the long length of video also.
While watching the video, the first tidal bore wave reminds me a lot of the small bow tanker waves that a small ship makes when traveling under 10 knots. I enjoy sup surfing these types of small waves on my 11'1" sup.
Thanks for sharing your tidal bore wave video.
surfercook:
That was crazy! The river looks so huge. I'd be scared! And that put out on the river bank looked extra challenging.
Great video. Love the drone scenics. Too bad there's no drone footage of the sup riding. Would need a really experienced drone pilot for that.
Dusk Patrol:
Very cool. The thing that strikes me is that it’s one chance... you have to not miss, and then stay on.
