QUESTIONS ABOUT PORTAL PHANTOM
« on: April 09, 2019, 08:10:36 PM »
I'm intrigued with the outline and stepped rails on the Portal Phantom and especially after watching Fisher Grant shredding on one in big ugly windy Sunset last month. http://progressionproject.com/the-portal-phantom/

1) Does anyone in San Diego or Orange County have a Portal Phantom that I can look at? (I live on the coast in North County.)

2) And if you don't live in So Cal, can you please give me the dimensions of your Phantom (including thickness) plus your weight and tell me what it feels like when you paddle it?

Thanks

8-2 x 29 x 4 x 115 Liters - Infinity Round Nose Blurr Carbon
8'-6" x 29 1/4" x 4" x 118 Liters - Azul Forte Pro custom
9-2' x 29" x 3 7/8" - Sunova (15 lbs)

Thanks. I weigh the same as you. Any idea when you might be getting it?

Yay! I'm looking forward to hearing about it. If you get a chance, it would be great to get the nose and tail measurements too, please.

Damn, that thing is friggin BEAUTIFUL and that trippy color design on the bottom might be the best I have ever seen! Thanks for posting that and I'm frothing to read your report. By the way, what's the farthest south you usually surf?

What do you think about it? Lemme know if you'll be heading farther south soon, please.
