New Board Locking System
« on: April 01, 2019, 12:13:13 PM »
A guy was handing these out at the beach the other day. He had a sample with him. It is heavy duty aluminum and locks into the fin box. Looks promising.

It's not overhead to me!
8'8" L-41 ST and a whole pile of boards I rarely use.

Similar idea to the Northcore Lockjaw Board Lock, which I use.

Let me play "Devil's Advocate".

The weakness in this device is the aluminum cable. For discussions sake, if I had a portable battery operated high speed Dremel tool, I wonder how long it would take me to cut completely through the aluminum cable? I'm guessing 60 seconds.

that's a good idea with fin box lock and combine this with lockrack.

The weakness in this product is that he wants $49.95 for a couple pieces of plastic...

Ridiculous, I thought for that price it'd came with the dang cable, and even the lock for Pete's sake. :o :(

Me: 6'1"/185...(2) 5'1" Kings Foil/Wing Boards...7'10 Kings DW Board...9'6" Bob Pearson "Laird Noserider"...14' Lahui Kai "Manta"...8'0" WaveStorm if/when the proning urges still hit.

I got a couple on discount with a flash sale on the website. They are aluminum not plastic. They will keep your board from being swiped by your average theif.
