Raglan, New Zealand- Armstrong Foil review, trip report and interview

Last week we went on a family trip to Raglan, NZ where I met up with the Armstrong Foils crew and got to try the 1200 and 1600 wings. Here are my impressions of the foils and a little travel story. I will post a detailed interview with Armie Armstrong next week, cheers!

Good interview. Learned some helpful tidbits. Maybe get one for cardio and leg work on flat water.
Probably the safest way to learn without decapitating myself Assuming I won't end up with cardiac arrest that is.

Bruchas, for flat water workout you mean towing behind a boat, right?
Learning to foil in flatwater by paddling up onto the foil is virtually impossible for a beginner.  Only a handful of the best foilers in top shape can do that and only after getting very good at riding and pumping the foil in the surf.   Dock starts might be something you can learn in flat water but sill takes a very high degree of fitness, skills and persistence.
