Downwind/Distance Paddling on Oahu

I asked Randy if we could start a forum for coordinating downwind runs on Oahu without hijacking the downwind board.  Thought it might be a good way to coordinate for doing downwind runs for those so interested.  Or if a group is doing a paddle on a certain date and location...?

Just a thought.

Great idea, but doesn't the "Events" category cover this? I know I mostly think of contests and similar, but couldn't it cover meet-ups of all kinds: d/w, surf, white water, social, etc? Not just the one's where money and prizes are involved.

We get a lot of posts, "I am going to _____, anyone want to paddle?".  This is the spot for those.  Not really events but just a place for users to arrange day to day outings.

Not sure quite yet how to find them on facebook but here is what I know. Type in denise ocean playground. That didn't work for me,but that is what I was told to type in to friend them.

Good find.  You can locate on Facebook by typing Denise Oceanplayground, appears to have daily updates as to the schedule.
