Any technical races in southeast US?

Does anyone know of any technical races that happen in the southeast US? (similar to video below) Racing through the surf and catching waves back in looks super fun and exciting. The only races I can find near the Florida panhandle are all flatwater long distance.

Bean:
Hokie, I would be interested in seeing some of that up here in the Mid Atlanic states.

Is there a better race schedule source than PaddleGuru?

RideTheGlide:
The Carolina Cup is a really big one:

Surf start and end is just for the Graveyard run I think.

EDIT - kind of on the line where it is an answer to both of you.

Bean:
Thanks RTG, but those are also just distance races.  The format that I'm thinking about are the technical  or surf races (Like the 2018 Pacific Paddle Games at Doheny State Beach)

RideTheGlide:
Oh, I see. Those course have tight turns an have you go out and in to or very near the beach up to 3 times with a relatively short course. It's not just a beach start and landing you are looking for. My bad. That "bow tie" course would be a good one to watch.
