From the Kernel....Thanks and I'm back
« on: February 06, 2019, 07:26:22 PM »
Just a quick thanks to all you who have continued to post here on the Zone.  Your insightful comments and observations over the years have substantially shaped my thinking and enjoyment of all things SUP; you are truly beacons of experience.

My apologies for dropping off the site for so long; got killed with wrapping up my second career and also shepherding my young kids as the wife transitioned back to work full time.  The most energy I could muster was barely enough to peruse the Zone occasionally; no juice left to actually think and write something.  My work has now "ended" with my "retirement" in December (thanks TallDude for coming to the ceremony) and I hope to be back in the water again a couple times a week until they bury me someday with a paddle in my hands.

Hoping to hit Hawaii, Costa Rica, and/or Mexico sometime in the next year, but if any of you are coming to SoCal and want to get scoop--or even meet up for a sesh--shoot me a PM.

Thanks again, and I'm pumped to be back!
