All of my boards are given names.  The new 12 ft PSH goes by the name "Point & Shoot" !   This board can make sections one would not thought possible.  The fun meter is on HIGH in the right conditions.  Thanks again to to Will letting her go !

Other boards go by The Interprise,  The Intriped and so on it goes !

PADDLE ON !!!!!!!!

The 12' PSH Gun is super versatile.

Works great in little 1' rollers, REALLY well in BIG waves and even BETTER in Gigantic waves.

Let's you in like you are riding in a Cadillac.

Here was a video from a couple years ago.  All in the Christmas spirit a la Sound of Music  ;D

OUTSTANDING!!!!!! I want one!!!!!

I want one too!

I wish more companies would make boards like this. Maybe tweak it just a bit for waves around head high.

It always seems odd to me when high demand items get dropped or in this case not have similar products show up to cater to that demand. The resale market on V2 Naish Glides is insane - boards are going for far more than new Glides. I don't think they need to abandon the new ones, but it seems like they would offer the old design also.

This is what I want Tino and Bert to design me out of the Sunova 12' Search, still waiting for their thoughts on it.

That's awesome that you are talking to Bert about it. The existing Search is too all around and slow. It needs to be souped up for pure high performance surfing with more glide and easy turning in waist to head high waves. I'd like to see what he comes up with.

I'm thinking 12' x 28" around 150 liters with slightly hard rails and slimmer outline.

Somes times the originals are always the best, like old movies.  It takes time to realize what we had,  get lucky to revisit and regain what we lost.    Funny how we gravitate thru the newest latest and greatest only to return to old friends.  There is no one board can do it all.   In my book, 3 boards cover all the areas my skill level & water conditions.    I have one that is always in the van that will cover 80%  of the conditions I usually encounter .   I also do understand one can not have to many boards !

Tip of the day:  Experimenting with new Ideas is a great & healthy endeavor !!!!!

That's why I have three boards, but I'm always trying to perfect the quiver.

In this case, I'm looking for a 12 footer that is designed purely for performance surfing and nothing else. I want to upgrade from my M-12'6 because I no longer do flatwater or downwind. All I do is surf now.

The M-12'6 is fun to surf, but the board I have in mind will surf a lot better. The current 12' Search is not the board I have in mind.

12' Jimmy Lewis Bombora is supposed to be similar to the 12' PSH.

Here is another perspective on 'easy in'

One concern I have with the Bombora 12' is that it is designed for gigantic waves with a lot of rocker as well as a long nose scoop which shortens the waterline. I wonder if this shape might have drawbacks in much smaller waist to head high conditions. I would hate to buy it and discover that it's slow and unresponsive in mushy waves which is exactly what I went through with the JL Stun Gun.

In other words, the design qualities that make a board work well in giant waves might not perform the same in smaller conditions. The board I'm thinking of has to have plenty of glide and boards with excessive rocker do not glide well.

One great thing about surfing the M-12'6 is the incredible amount of glide that it has.

rbgar was ripping the 14'r on his very first wave!
It took me a LOT longer to master this board.

Such a fun session... pure glass, just the 2 of us trading waves  :)

I had to spin my head around like in Regan in the Exorcist, to get this shot. Wish I got his whole ride!

Wow, you guys had waves like that and it was completely flat here.

Looks like perfect big board conditions.   8)
