First snow noreaster
« on: November 18, 2018, 05:59:00 AM »
After a failed paddlesurf and then a windsurf,  I went to the surf beach to shoot a few.  Radical windsurf short from latest storm,  SUP sail shot from the storm before.

I had every intention of making the road trip that afternoon....
but cam watching the howling wind and seeing lawn furniture blow by my window, I decided to chill at home  ;D

Thanks for the shots, definitely classic NE winter challenge session.
that surf shot must have been late afternoon,
It looks cleaner than what I was seeing at my "cutoff time" of noon (since I have a 2 hour drive)

Great pics of the solid surf you experienced up there! looks very challenging. I really liked that shot of the sup gazing into that empty set bombing.
One could go into a mall in Kansas and ask a teenager "What is a surfer looking for?, and the answer will always be, "The perfect wave"

Surf cleaned up in the afternoon.   Surf shots from an east facing venue at PJ.  Early am south facing stuff looked good but wind went from north to NW and screwed it up.  JP
