You're right. Pretty much if it's a liquid that's designed to become a solid, there will be off-gassing. As long as you reduce your parts per thousand (fresh air flow) it will reduce the exposure. Once I mix up the epoxy, I have about 20 minutes to get the fabric on and down flat. Then I walk away, and let it cure for at least 12 hrs. I'll close my shop doors to keep the dust and bugs off the wet surface. Then I heat my shop to about 95 deg. all night and I'll get a nice hard cure.

For those with epoxy issues try EcoPoxy

It’s way more expensive but has almost no fumes or VOC

I built my hollow wood paddleboard with this stuff in my basement with no issues.
