Board Vengance

Mr. Fugly got damaged today--I sliced into it with my paddle when I did a body slam overfoiling on a wave face, I paddled in, taped up the cut, and headed back out.

The next sizeable wave I caught was going great, turned hard across the whitewater, forgot to lean hard on my front foot to keep the foil down, launched, hit the water in front of the board and the foil sliced my paddle shaft in half.

Take that, you bastard.

I don't mind the board getting even, but I'm the one that has to fix both of them.

Sounds like an expensive day. Better your gear get hammered than your body. A broken paddle is cheaper than a broken bone.
