I have never seen a wave generating machine like that. Pretty cool design.  8)

I know where they got the idea:

Foote 10'4X34", SIC 17.5 V1 hollow and an EPS one in Hood River. Foote 9'0" x 31", L41 8'8", 18' Speedboard, etc. etc.

Definitely a different wave. Starts out strong then weakens as it moves away from the source of the wave generator. It does have multiple rights and lefts because of the shape of the floor and beach, allowing for multiple riders with two plunges. The Ranch wave is a constant with single cycle wave, and sustained amplitude. One wave, one direct (at a time), and one rider at a time. Doesn't look like you have much time to catch it after the plunge. Hope you don't get sucked in..... :o
