Does anyone foil in the Outer Banks?
« on: September 26, 2018, 03:29:34 PM »
The wife and I are here in nags head for a couple days. Waves have been pretty consistent.  Grinding barrels on the inside and fat bombs on the outside. I see shortboards on the inside and that’s all. Looks like a great day to foil from the outside. Could get a loooog ride and pull out before the inside crunch. Just wondering if these waves are the norm. If so I will bring a foil on my next visit for sure. Aloha

There's a shop that sells foil gear out there. I don't remember the name right now, but they do pull behind lessons also. They said there are some good spots.

Yes, normal. Real Waterports if you want to talk with local foilers. They ride Cloud 9.
