Red is 2% faster.
It's not overhead to me!
8'8" L-41 ST and a whole pile of boards I rarely use.

My vote is for the red color.
Blue Planet Duke: 10'5" x 32" x 4.5" @ 190 Liters (2 Dukes)
Sup Sports Hammer: 8'11" x 31" x 4" @ 140 Liters
SUP Sports One World: 11'1" x 30" x 4.5" @ 173 Liters
CJ Nelson Parallax: 9'3" x 23 1/2" x 3 3/16" @ 78.8 Liters (prone surfing longboard; Thunderbolt Technologies build in Red construction)

If you asked 100 people, a majority would chose the blue. Blue tends to sell better in most products - clothing etc. So if resale is in your mind, go for blue.

You could compromise and have them custom-mix the red and blue paint together, but then again that might just make it look like you were marooned in indecision.

the blue is bright and probably the safer resale color but the red is more like a burnt orange and sweet! pretty unique in person. Burnt Orange for the win!

btw, I really hate this “brushed carbon” look. And you can get hot spots in the sun. Give me a proper paint job please and I’ll take the extra weight.

The new Jimmy Lewis Sidewinder (v2) is crazy light and has got a proper paint job. And it’s made in the same factory, I think. So don’t say “it can’t be done”. Brushed carbon finishes look tatty and there’s always the sneaky feeling that they are just covering up for poor workmanship.

I hope the ones they are selling 25% off are in better shape than the one in the picture - which looks to have sustained some awful damage to the underside of the nose :)
