Getting in a little downwind practice for when the wind eventually returns.

Wow - that's a lovely wave for surfing a board like that. Great vid, thanks for sharing.

Does this signal the end of seeing videos where you are downwinding Starboards?

Would love to have a Bayonet if I didn't already have two 16ft full-on DW boards.

I hope BIC look after the SIC brand because Mark R created a brand that really appeals to enthusiasts like me (unlike BIC, I'm afraid).

Longest wave of the day was 262 metres / 59 seconds. I only included part of it in the video as it didn't look all that exciting and I was milking it for distance. The wave peters out and then reforms again but the long boards can link them.

Yes it's true, no more Starboard downwind or race boards for me. I still have a couple of their wave boards.

Not sure exactly how you would define BIC looking after the SIC brand but I hope they don't feel the compulsion to change the boards every year as the appeal to me is Raaphorst getting a design right and then sticking with it. I've never understood how SUP brands are not punished by market forces the way car companies are for undermining resale value.

Ace GT belongs to a friend now. I was just helping him with some running repairs on the weekend.

Great to see long length boards surfing the waves. I know I really enjoy sup surfing my 11'1" board. BTW, nice background music.

Thanks for sharing your video.
