One thing for sure, come next Wednesday (Sept 5th), the surf will be "up" all along the upper Texas coast........and building.
I'm tempted to trek down there and check off another bucket item! Although we're getting some action come next weekend. Tropicss are finally lightin' up for us East Coasters and Gulfsters.  :)
One could go into a mall in Kansas and ask a teenager "What is a surfer looking for?, and the answer will always be, "The perfect wave"

@ surfercook

By Wednesday of next week, we'll have a good idea where this disturbance will go and what it will do. And the best place for surfing waves with size will be at Surfside.

The streaming webcam at Surfside is the one to watch. You can control the camera for 60 seconds at a time. The control for the camera is at the bottom right side of the window and the different positions for the camera are at the upper right corner of the window once you have control of the camera.

My favorite camera positions are:

1) Surfside Jetty Base
2) Gulf Wide
3) Beach Zoom
4) East Zoom

And you can see the three day weather and surf forecast at the link below.

And last but not least, the link for Ventusky.
