I always enjoy your videos of that spot.

Have you ever ridden your downwind board there? I'd like to see a video of that sometime. It's a great way to hone your downwinding skills.

This is such an incredible spot. Even if I have never sup surfed, every time I see your videos there, it makes me feel like I could. Great music to boot. But DJ do you ever paddle or just catch those super long glide without any effort?

That is a magical spot for waves. I envy you. And those waves are my favorite type of waves. The kind you can ride for a long time with little effort.

As always, thanks for sharing your videos.

Thanks for your comments guys..

I was down there again today in similar conditions and a friend was there on his yellow/orange 14’ Maliko doing just that.

Even surfing a longboard like my 11’ Nalu is good DW practice learning to trim the board to get max glide.. Not being able to paddle because you’re waving it in the air filming forces it even more..  8)

Yea DJ. Still stylin. I would love to surf that wave. It's so perfect and seems never ending. And looks like threes not a crowd there! Hey, would it be cool if I camped out w my foil board there for about two weeks? Looks like a perfect foil wave for learning.
One could go into a mall in Kansas and ask a teenager "What is a surfer looking for?, and the answer will always be, "The perfect wave"
