Jimmy lewis worldwide. 8ft5 125l
« on: August 09, 2018, 03:27:51 PM »
Rented this board 2 days in maui.   I liked it  seems like a good do anything surf sup
Had it in knee to shoulder, softish waves.  My normal is a sealoin 8ft3 135l.   Similar feel,  stable in wind chop.   If i do a 3rd day i would grab the same one.  Nice and
  Light.

I had this board, PM me for details. It ended up being a bit too much volume for my 175 lbs.

I did rent it a 3rd day.  Lucked out with some bigger surf.   Got a few head high waves.   Still happy with it,  but not didnt feel any advantage over my Sealion.  I was expecting to feel a tighter turn for a few reasons ... quad vs twin fin,   10 liter drop in vol,  thinner rails,    narrower tail vs super fish.  Jp

Try an 8'7 Sunova Flow. It's like an improved World Wide. Same outline and rocker but thinner rails.
Kalama E3 6'1 x 23" 105L
Axis HPS 980 / PNG 1300
Sunova Flow  8'10 X 31"  119L
