Interesting. Looks like foil dw is gonna get more and more popular as the equipment get better and easier.

My friend Eric Terrien told me that now is able to do dw in light conditions (10nt) on his M200. He doesn't use his M280 because he's got the skills.

I think, big wings like M280 is what you need to start dw especially if you don't live in Maui , then when you get better you can go to a a faster/smaller foil.

I just use the garmin 920xt, i like it for my 1km splits but it has a huge amount of info that you can get from it, i mostly use it for my SUP training but its good to see the speeds on the foil as well.

Cool.....I enjoy pairing my Schosche Rhythm+ with my Garmin 78sc to monitor my speed and distance and heart rate. Just provides a little more incentive to push harder.
I also run Endomondo app on my S7 smartphone at the same time to record data and transfer to MyFitnessPal app. All this just to add a little incentive and fun. Helps me stay on track with my fitness goals.
