My board seems to have characteristics from both boards in that photo.  I hope 6 feet is not too short for downwinding.  I made it for wave surfing but its nice to have a board that does it all.

My buddy just bought a Kalama production board. We took it for a flat water paddle this morning. 6’0” x 28” x 115L. Very stable for its size. Weight in normal construction is 18 lbs.
Lots of foil boards 6’7”-7’4”, L41 TVD’s and Jimmy Lewis Strikers..

Thanks for the picture.  Looks real nice.  Have not yet glassed mine.  I'd love to see more pics from differing angles.   Was it paddled with or without the foil attached?

It looks like a great board!
Where did your friend buy it?

I got a little info from Dave on the production boards. He said they are available to buy. Not sure on the price. His customs run around $1800

Wow, It looks like Dave is at least one product cycle ahead of everyone else right now, just so long as he found someone who can make a quality production board consistently.

I was expecting a more rectangular outline.

I just got my custom today. Heading to the water now. I have 4 days in Santa Cruz to get this bad boy dialed in.

Dave does not have a website that I know of. He will ship. You can also buy from HiTech in Maui. I suspect that the boards are made at the same factory as Jimmy Lewis as they are made in Vietnam.
