Man, that thing looks fun! Have you surfed it yet? Is the stringer Divinycell?

What do you think about that Hexatraction stuff? That stuff was on a used board I bought and it was way too slippery for me.

I have been surfing it a couple of weeks now.  It paddles pretty well for a small board and is probably the closest I'll get to a short board surfing feel on a SUP.  It is fast and snappy and carves turns effortlessly.

The stringer is 3/4" HD 6# PU.    I do not think I will use it on my future boards as it adds weight.  The blank was 1lb heavier than my 75L GB stringerless blank.  The completed board weighs 10.8lbs which is 1lb heavier than desired (I like 10lb or less).

I really like Hexatraction and use it on all my SUPs.

Ha, the Chum has nothing to worry about, it's an awesome board.

The mount is actually for my Trace (http://www.traceup.com/).

For sure.  September and October were both very good.  I have really been enjoying the Baked Potato.  How about you?

How the new board?

My new board should be ready soon.   I'll post full details on it once I pick it up.   I wanted something narrower and thinner that would be fun for both SUP and prone.  Here's the CAD render ...

HAhahaahha, that logo is amazing. Great work man. Now you’ve actually hit below size of board that I prone paddle. Unbelievable.

We have had some really good waves this fall, with periods of to much wind and wrong direction in between. That’s what you get on the EC. Patience is a virtue 😬 I’ll be back out west at the end on the month 🤙🏼

Thanks.  I had BoardLams.com print up some rice paper lams for this build.  I am looking forward to see how they turn out.

It takes someone with a very refined and unique sense of humor to create a custom board that resembles a soft top.  I love it!

You are right on!  The 7-0 Odysea Log was the inspiration for the Tic Tac.  I always have a blast when I take it out.  I wanted something just like it but with a touch more volume (for SUP), less flex, real fins and performance rocker, rails and bottom contours.  The Tic Tac is all about fun :-)

7-0 Odysea Log...
